Martin Buford Obituary

Buford, Martin A. Sr., 79, Liberty Real Estate owner and U.S. Army Korean and Vietnam veteran, soared to his eternal home Aug. 18, 2012. His smile and generosity will brighten heaven. He loved his Savior, family and friends, Louis L'Amour books, KU basketball, KC Chiefs and the rehab staff at Via Christi. He is survived by his wife, Bobby Runyan-Buford; beloved Stormy; sons, Martin Jr., Charles (Hattie), Michael (Tracey) and Timothy Buford; stepson, Keith (Sally) Runyan; stepdaughters, Robin (Joe White) Runyan, and Sherry Runyan; 1 brother; 5 sisters; 15 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012 at Asbury Church. Memorials may be made to Asbury Church, 2801 W. 15th St., Wichita, KS 67203 or KSK9Resq, P.O.
