Armstong, Al, 70, passed away Friday, March 9, 2013. No services will be held. Al was born to Albert (Sid) Armstrong in Round Rock, TX on July 9, 1942. Al attended school in Anthony, KS, and graduated from Colby High School, Colby, KS. He also attended UCLA
for 3 years before graduating from the University of Wisconsin. Al owned and operated Al's Metal Craft in Sedgwick, KS. He also worked as a maintenance supervisor for the Kansas Department of Corrections, retiring from this position. He was an avid motorcyclist one trip took him to the Arctic Circle and back. He was preceded in death by his father, Sid; niece, Becky Hamill; nephew, Brody Armstrong. He is survived by: stepson, Chad Duval; sisters, Connie (Earl) Alsdurf of Joplin, MO, Cindy (Bill) Hamill of Anthony, KS; brothers, Monte Armstrong of Anthony, KS, Jerry (Doreen) Armstrong of Altus, OK; numerous nieces and nephews.
