Ocker, Cameron Alan, 7, student at Church of the Magdalen, died July 24, 2005. Vigil 7:00 P.M., Wednesday and service 10:00 A.M., Thursday, both at Church of the Magdalen. Survivors: father, David Ocker of Wichita; mother, Stara Swain of Wichita; brother, Colton Ocker; half brother,, Colby Swain; half sister, Haylee Swain; grandparents, Ray and Ruth Ocker of Wichita, Tammy Farris of Wichita and Steve and Labrenda Swain of Cheney, KS. A memorial has been established with Magdalen Catholic School Library, 2221 N. 127th St. E., Wichita, KS, 67226. Downing & Lahey Mortuary East. Tributes may be sent to the family via www.downingandlahey.com

My Dear sweet Cammy,

July 23rd marks the last time I heard those precious word's,

" I Love You Mom "

My prompt response of course being, "I Love You too Cam " If I had only known those were to be our final words,I would have said so much more.

I would have told you what a wonderful son you were and that your smile was big enough to light up a room. I would have told you that I wouldnt trade a minute of your seven years for anything in this world. Last but not least, I would have told you that having you in my life was the best thing that could have ever happened and enduring the pain of loosing you, cannot compair to the joy, Love, and laughter you brought to our lives.

I miss you terribly, and long to see your beautiful smile, and your innocent eyes. Your little voice when you spoke rings clearly in my thought's.

Thank You for being in my life Cameron, and thank you for showing me the way.

It has almost been a year since you left and I miss you as much today as I did that first day. I hear your voice call to me and I can close my eyes and see your smiling face watching me. I know that you are watching over all of us and I beleive that you have helped all of us in some small way or another. When I go to see you I always leave more at peace with myself then when I went. You were and always will be my riblet and I love you so much. I am glad that you are willing to show me that you are still with me. You will always be in my thoughts. I love you son.

I know I only met you a couple of times, but through my daughter Heather Converse, I know how much your children mean to you. Cameron had a very special place in your heart.
