Cook, Abbott Jerry, age 95, ret. owner of Jerry Cook Motors, passed away December 11, 2013. Jerry served his country in WW II in the European Theatre as a Tech. Sgt. flight chief for 12 crews of P47 aircraft. He also received 3 Bronze Stars. He and his wife were very active at East Heights United Methodist Church for over 60 years. He is survived by his loving family, wife, Wilma, sons, Marte (Shelly) Cook, of Des Moines, IA, Monte (Paula) Cook, of Wichita, daughter, Pam (Don) Parsons, of Summerfield, FL, grandchildren, Whitney Richardson, Dawn Mansmith, Rachel Cook, Ryan Cook, Kelly Cook and Casey Cook, great-grandchild, Ethan Mansmith. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, at East Heights United Methodist Church, with viewing 1 hour prior to service. Memorials to East Heights United Methodist Church, 4407 E.
