Hoagland, Farrell Don Sr., 72, passed away lovingly surrounded by his family on Tuesday, September 10, 2013. He was born June 15, 1941, to Merrill and Sylvia (Powell) Hoagland in Larned, KS. Farrell worked on a farm when he was young and later drove a Standard Oil truck. He served in the US Army as a Private First Class for 2 years. Farrell then worked as a mechanic at a Mobile service station and then in the Wesley Medical Center Engineering department for 16 years. He volunteered for the VA Express, driving veterans to their appointments and was a lifelong Mason and a member of the VFW. He was preceded in death by his parents. Farrell is survived by his wife of 35 years, Janell Hoagland; children, Lana (Robert) Moler, F. Don (Renee) Hoagland, Jr., and Joshua Hoagland; sister, Gloria Morell; grandchildren, Aaron Vande Hey, Dominick Hoagland, Katie Hoagland, and Mason Moler. Funeral 10 a.m. Saturday, September 14, 2013, at the Central Christian Church Chapel, with visitation one hour prior. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
