Mr Luthi was my wood working teacher my junior year of high school. He helped me learned how to make things from wood and refinish wood as well. He was always helpful to me and encouraging me as I was the only girl in the class at the time. I will always remember his kind demeanor and helpful attitude toward me and the projects that I was working on. My deepest sympathy to his family.

To the family of Mr. Luthi, my prayers and thoughts are with you. I had Drivers Ed. with Mr. Luthi and he let us listen to music and go to McDonald's Drive Thur on Seneca. He was a softie but didn't let everyone know that side of him. Best Wishes to the family. Alisa Alexander-Fulton

Mr. Luthi taught me to parallel park in driver's ed. I did it perfectly the first time, due to his excellent instruction.
This skill has served me well over the years, especially when working in New York, NY.
And as mentioned, he made driver's ed interesting, which was a great talent.

Lyle and I and our family have many memories of Mert and his family . We all worked hard on the farm here in Harper and finished off the day playing tennis at midnight on Harper's tennis courts. He was a great guy and a lot of fun. We are sorry to hear of his passing and want to express out love and sympathy to Sheyl, Robin and Lisa. Lyle & Gail Pearl.

Mr. Luthi was my driver's ed teacher. He taught me things I still use today. He made it fun to get up at 6:00 in the summer. He had a great sense of humor and made the class interesting. May God Bless his family that theymay know how big an impact he had on other's lives.

It was sad to learn of Mr. Luthi's passing. He was my Wrestling coach in my freshman year at South High. He taught me much more than the correct way to throw a Fireman's Carry. He was a great guy and I've thought of him often.
