Rickey Farris Obituary

Farris, Rickey Leotis 47, General Contractor, passed away Dec. 25, 2016. He was born on Sept. 3, 1969 in Wichita, to Mickey Leotis and Linda Kay "Clingerman" Farris. Rickey loved to shoot pool and play keno but his favorite hobbies were being on the lake, fishing and reading his bible. He was a devoted father and grandfather and loved the time he spent with his kids and grandkids. Rickey is survived by his son, James Leotis Farris (Della); daughter, Josie Marie Farris; brothers, Ronnie Farris (Kathleen), Mickey Farris (Melisa), Travis Farris and Wayland Farris (Brandy); grandchildren, Elizabeth Farris, Zackaryah Leotis Farris; and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mickey and Linda. Memorial service 2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 2, at Andover Baptist Church, 1043 S. Andover Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Rickey's honor to the Rickey Farris Memorial Fund at Quantum Credit Union, 6300 W. 21st. St., Wichita 67205 or 270 N.
