Dr. Lawless was one of my favorite professors. He definitely thought "outside the box" He was an inspiration and he will be missed.

Dr. Lawless was a great mentor and an inspiring teacher whom I will miss dearly. Thank you for opening my eyes to the world of anthropology. I will forever remember your humor and wit as well as your stories about the Kalinga.
