EL DORADO - Lanman, Betty, 85, widow of Kenneth White Lanman, died Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, in South Carolina. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 28, 2014, with visitation at 10 a.m., both at Kirby Morris Funeral Home in El Dorado. Burial following the service will be at Burns (Kan.) Cemetery. Born in Elbing, KS, she was a daughter of the late Earl Morton and Hala Will Hendricks Holladay. Mrs. Lanman was a homemaker and member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing golf, painted china and needle work. Surviving are a daughter, Jill Schneider and husband, Greg; and a grandson Eric Schneider all of Greenville, SC. Preceded in death by her parents and husband and sister, Helen McNary.
