Younkin, Paul E., 89, lifetime resident of Wichita and retired auditor from Cessna Aircraft was carried by angels to his heavenly home on Wednesday, March 5, 2014. Paul was an East High graduate. He was preceded in death by his parents Grover and Verna, sister Ruth Wamsley. He became a Mason at the age of 20. He was a Shriner, Lyons Club and Wichita Men's Retired Club Member. He was a member of 3 Shriner clubs, two Hi 12 clubs and VIP Couples Club. He was on the Shrine bowler league and bowled in tournaments all over the U.S. and won many trophies. He loved bowling and was very active in all these clubs he belonged to. He was a charter member of Metropolitan Baptist Church. He leaves behind his wife, Dee Dee Ryan of the home; children, Pamela Morris, Wichita; granddaughter, Jennifer Morris, Wichita; stepchildren, Rick (Beverly) Ryan, Bartlesville, OK, Ron (Robyn) of Ponca City, OK, Marilyn (Paul) Garitson, Wichita; many stepgrandchildren; and 15 stepgreat-grandchildren; cousin Nancy (Dr. Fred) Dopps; many nieces and nephews. Visitation with family 10 to 11 a.m.; Funeral Service 11 a.m. both Saturday, March 8th, at Metropolitan Baptist Church with burial to follow at Wichita Park Cemetery.
