SALINA - Kind, Donald Dean, 64, of Salina died Sunday, May 4, 2014 at Salina Regional Medical Center. He was born July 30, 1949 to Harold and Marcelene (Giddings) Kind in Wichita, KS. Don was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Shriner, Scottish Rights, Kansas Motor Carrier Association and loved going to antique car shows. Left to mourn his passing are his wife of the home, Sharon of Salina; daughters, Diana and Micol Tice of Wichita, Christina and Patrick Normandin of Salina, Stacy and Bradley Chaney of Woodbridge Virgina; grandchildren, Matthew Tice, Meagan Tice, Logan Wilson and Joseph "Joey" Wilson; sisters, Vickey and Kenneth Francis of Overland Park, KS and Suzanne and David Roe of Basehor, KS. He is preceded in death by his parents. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 7, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Salina with Pastor Loran Forbes officiating. There will be no visitation. The burial will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, at Kechi Cemetery, Kechi KS. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriner's Children's Hospital or and are in care of Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth St., Salina, KS 67401.
