Morgan, Susie Mae Turner, was born, April 16, 1918, in Okemah, Okla., to James Turner and Luella Chapman Turner. She married Thurman Morgan on Feb. 7, 1935, to which five children were born. Susie received Christ at an early age and gave her life completely to Christ. Susie graduated from Cosmetology school in 1961. She did domestic work for many years after a few years working at the City Lundary. Susie is survived by two daughters, Almetrice Morgan Kinslow (Ruelle) of Dover, Okla., and Maeola Morgan McQueen (Johnell) of Wichita; 21 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Susie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thurman; two sons, James E. and Lonzo; a daughter, Dorothy Chaplin; 3 sisters and 4 brothers. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 5, at Old Mission Mortuary. Funeral services are scheduled at 11 a.m. Friday, June 6, at St. Mark's Cathedral Church of God and Christ, with burial following at Old Mission Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at
