DiBenedetto-Montague, Jeanna Agnes, 91, passed away peacefully July 4, 2012 at her residence surrounded by family. Jeanna was preceded in death by her husband, James David Montague; parents, Donatto DiBenedetto and Maria DeAngelo-DiBenedetto; sisters, Grace Stuart, Ida Carlino, Lucy Nickerson; brothers, Vincent and Danny. Survivors include her sisters, Violet Corvi and Evelyn (Ava) Marani of Massachusetts; sons, Robert of Wichita, James (Peggy) of Huntsville, Alabama and David (Kathie) of Wichita; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren. For over twenty years Jeanna considered The Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 112 her extended family. She was a lifetime member and held many positions and received numerous awards for her volunteer work. She was also a frequent volunteer at the Veterans Hospital and especially proud of her of Distinction Honorary VAVS RepresentativeShe was proud to have comforted and aided many veterans and service personnel up to the time of her illness. There will be a private family service at Old Mission Mortuary. Friends who wish to honor her memory are requested to contribute to Rivercross Hospice of Wichita.
