Ritchie, Darrel A., 80, Retired Boeing worker in the Transportation Department, passed away May 9, 2014. Darrel was born on March 29, 1934 in Newton, Kansas to Orval Ritchie and Irene Louise Tenhulzen. Darrel served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. Preceded in death by his wife, Carol; his parents; sister, Donna; daughter, Barbara and great-grandson, Mikel Whiteside. Survivors: companion, Frieda and her son, Bill Hemmert; son, David (Teri) White; 4 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. Graveside Service: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 13 at Resthaven Cemetery. Memorials: Wichita Children's Home, 810 N. Holyoke, Wichita, Kansas 67208
