Shirley Riesen Obituary

Riesen, Shirley J. 82, born January 29, 1934 to Curt and Elsie Dyck in Hutchinson, Kansas, passed away June 21, 2016. Shirley was an avid reader, enjoyed sewing and traveling. She was preceded by husband, Harold Paul Riesen, and parents. Shirley is survived by daughter, Pamela (Mark) Waller; grandchild, Chelsie (Cameron) Tibbits; great-grandchildren, Jude and Aiden Tibbits. Visitation 5-7 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2016, and funeral service 10 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2016, both at Resthaven Mortuary.

Pam and family, I feel so blessed to have been your mother's friend. I could always depend on her no matter what. We enjoyed many breakfasts together and had many wonderful talks. I will miss her. Thank you Pam for sharing your mother with me. Love you

Mark, Pam and Chelsie, my heart is so heavy and I know the last year and a half have been really difficult for you. Just know that I will always love Shirley and Harold and feel a connection to your family.
