I'm sorry that I just now, by accident, learned of Henry's death. Haven't seen him since HS graduation, but have never forgotten that my recollection of him was always a very positive one. He was truly 'one of the good guys' and I was a a 'jerk' in those days. Since '50 I have always lived away from KCMO, but I am sure that if I had remained, Henry and I would have been good friends. I have many fond memories of Hank as I was an up and coming scanner operator. I was out of town during the funeral but I was very impressed with the video on line, it was nice. We will all miss Hank.

I have never known a more likeable soul in my life than my Uncle Henry. My memories of him are cherished ones. He was more like one of my friends than my uncle. I remember his constant wonderful smile along with his willingness to help anyone in need. I am fortunate to have a guitar of his that he gave to me, and I will always think of him when I pick it up to play. I will greatly miss him.

I'm so saddened to hear this. I have the fondest memories of Hank when my sons were in Boy Scout Troop 426. He will be warmly remembered and greatly missed.
