“Max” Barnett was one of the most awesome “Scouters” I ever knew. When I knew him he was a Unit Commissioner for the Boy Scouts Heart of America Council, North Star District, and a member of our Troop 215. Max had reached the highest level of scout leader training, Wood Badge. Actions speak louder than words and he did not have to tell you what to do because he “SET THE EXAMPLE”. Max always had a smile and his laughter and humor were as much appreciated as were his words of advice and encouragement. I want to thank his family for sharing him with us for I know his was a life well lived and he touched many. I, “Honored Woman” in Mic-O-Say, “She Who Speaks With Leaves” will remember him at SheSheBe now that his “work is done.
