Ruth A. Anderson, 83, passed away March 3, 2015. Visitation will be from 2-3 today at the Floral Hills Funeral Home with graveside services at 3 PM at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Ruth was born in central Oklahoma and had lived in this area most of her life. She worked as a ceramics teacher for many years. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Carl and two sons, Butch and Curt. Survivors include a son Rick Anderson; brother, Gary Bankson; sister, Beverly Sprowl; 10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. BAILES, JACK - Kansas City  
Jack Bailes passed away February 26, 2015, at the age of 88. An Army veteran, he also enjoyed golf, bowling, ping pong, and softball. He had three sisters and four brothers. Surviving is Alice Conn. Deceased is Doradell Brown, Katie Roberts, Glen, James, Kenny and Bob. Jack spent most of his career with IBT (formerly Industrial Bearing and Transmission). Retiring in 1982 with 32 years of service, he played a very integral part in the company becoming what it is today. Jack married Dorothy Jones (deceased 1971). Together they had four children, Steve, Carol, Linda (deceased), and David. He also has four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Jack remarried in 1975 to Betty Knecht (deceased 2014). Maxine B. Burdick, 75, of Lawson, MO, passed away February 27, 2015. A Celebration of Life will be 11am Thursday, March 5, 2015, at Evangelistic Center Church, 1024 Truman Rd, Kansas City, MO 64106, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at 2:30 pm at Leavenworth National Cemetery. Maxine was preceded in death by her parents; 3 sisters; 1 brother and her husband, William R. Burdick. Survivors include her 3 children, Bobbi Connell and husband John, of Rayville, MO, Bryon Hawkins, of Kansas City, MO and Kathleen Wade of Platte Woods, MO; two Step- Children, Lee and Jerry Burdick; brother in-law, Patrick Lane; 7 grandchildren Sarah Grosko, Larry Ryan, Matthew Hawkins, Mark Wade, Nathaniel Hawkins, Janine Hawkins and Patrick Hawkins and great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Jordeah Grosko, and Sophia Silega. Maxine Burdick, our mama; Maxine has fought the good fight, she finished the race, and she kept her faith steadfast in Jesus, who is the author and finisher of her faith. She was an example of strength during hard times, an example we will not forget. Nor will we forget her beautiful smile, or her heart felt "I love yous", meant to assure you of her love. We have the Blessed Assurance that she is now in Heaven with Jesus and all her love ones who made the journey ahead of her. No more tears, no more sorrow, no more pain. MARCIA CAROL (PATTERSON) DEBAULT Marcia Carol (Patterson) Debault, 71, of Leawood, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at home. Services to celebrate the life of Carol will be held Saturday, March 7th, 2:00 p.m., at McGilley State Line Chapel. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Cancer Action. Carol was born March 31, 1943 in Lewisville, Texas, to Jimmie and Oneita Patterson. She married Lee Debault on December 20, 1995 in Olathe, KS. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, brother Richard, and daughter Paula.
