AINSWORTH, BETTY JEAN (GANN) - Kansas City  
BETTY JEAN GANN AINSWORTH Betty Jean Gann Ainsworth passed away on August 19, 2015 at the age of 85 after a serious fall in Maryland. She was born on May 8, 1930 and spent most of her early life in Higginsville, MO, graduating from Higginsville High School. In 1948, she married Maurice "Rudy" Ainsworth and had 2 daughters: Charlotte Goodman Hansen and Christine Urie. After retiring from Vance Bros. Asphalt in 1982, she and Rudy had a long time antique business where her creative talents shined in painting, sewing, and quilting. She also worked as a bookkeeper for her daughter Christine at Urie & Associates. In June 2015, she moved to Gambrills, MD to be close to her daughter Charlotte. She was a loving and devoted mother and wife who loved to be with her family. Betty was a long time member of the Unity Universal Church of Kansas City, MO. She is survived by her 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren (Colby, Malia, Rachel and Luke). Betty will be cremated and placed with her late husband Rudy at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Higginsville, MO. The family will have a memorial service in Kansas City in her honor to be announced later this year. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Diabetes Association.

ANDREGG, FRANCES LUCILLE - Raymore  
Frances Lucille Andregg, of Belton, MO passed away August 23, 2015. Frances was born December 17, 1919 in Kansas City, MO. She worked at Sears prior to marrying Robert Andregg in 1940. She later worked for the Jones Store Co. until her retirement. Frances was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years Robert; son, John; sister, Hazel and Mary and brother, Jack. Frances is survived by her sisters, Elizabeth and Joan; children, Jean Bales (Tony), Terry Nick (Dave), Bobbi Toyne (Jim-deceased), Mary Kingsley (John), Carol Hill (Chuck), Michael Andregg (Mercy), Margaret Davis (Anthony), Joseph Andregg (Mari), Susan Beutler (Steve) as well as 29 grandchildren, 50 great- grandchildren and 7 great, great- grandchildren. She is also survived by many warm and loving friends. They all meant a lot to her. Frances was a Catholic and a member of St. Louis parish during her childhood and as a young adult. She later moved to St. Regis parish and after retiring moved to St. Sabina parish where she was a member of the Legion of Mary for many years. Frances and Robert loved to travel. They often went to visit their children and grandchildren out of state. They spent ten happy winters as snowbirds in Texas. After Robert's death in 1998 she kept on travelling to visit her children and to family reunions around the country. At the last reunion in Colorado she was 94. "Children don't mourn me just be glad I'm with your Dad. When you feel the wind on your face that is your mother giving you a kiss. Love each other and keep your memories and share them." Frances was a very sweet, caring and nurturing person and will be missed by those she loved. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Friday, August 28, 2015 at St. Sabina Catholic Church with Rosary at 6 PM. Funeral Mass will be at 10 AM Saturday, August 29, 2015 at St. Sabina Catholic Church 700 Trevis Ave. Belton, MO. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Kansas City, MO. ARMSTRONG, DAVID A. - Blue Springs  
David A. Armstrong, 86, passed away August 29, 2015. David was born May 29, 1929 in Kiel, WI the son of Harry and Ida Armstrong. David served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War as a tail gunner in a B29. On September 6, 1952 David married Jane Armstrong they shared 63 years of marriage together. To this union they had one son Craig Armstrong (Carey) and one grandson, Nathan Armstrong. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Bruce Armstrong in 1983. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 1, 2015 from 6-8 pm at Floral Hills Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 12 p.m. also at the funeral home.
