Dear Kittell's:
just a note to let you know you all are still in my prayers... Ken & I had renewed our friendship at the reunions and it was a pleasure plugging back in and bragging on our kids... Ken was also very compassionate when we spoke of the loss of our daughter, Amie... He really cared about people and was genuinely concerned how I was doing.. I cannot explain how much it meant to me for Ken to have the courage to reach out to me on our loss.... God Bless you all --- Steve Titus

To The Kittell Family:

I just found out about Ken's passing this morning from a mutual friend (Pete Raymond) from our HHS days. My thoughts and sympathies are with the entire Kittell family!!! Ken was certainly a great person (and neighbor). I remember riding the school bus with Ken and sister Kathie and other close friends. Ken always had that smile for everything (unless we were cramming for some test that day on the bus-ha).

Ironically, I was in Mequon, for a business meeting last Thursday (Oct. 7th). I had a few extra moments and actually drove through the River Oaks subdivision. I also did drive by the former Kittell residence and everything was in perfect order (just as it was during our high school days). All the trees/vegetation are much larger in size.

And for Ken's immediately family: I know that he would want everyone to move on with their lives and to be the best that you can be. It is up to you to fulfill this wishes!!!

Most Sincerely,

Ken Fries

Hello KK's, I was so sorry to hear Kenny's passing:( . I was fortunate to have spoken with Kenny recently and we shared memories of Waukegan/Mequon visits. Oleo vs. Butter. How many BLT's or ears of corn were to much. I have so many wonderful memories from my youth of times spent with the Kittel's. Kenny will never be forgotten! I always loved his laugh and sense of humor. Truly a Great guy!
My families thoughts and prayers are with you all. Mike McCulloch

Dear Kittells,
I wanted to send my deepest condolences to your family during this sad time. Kenny was a long-time family friend, and he will be very sorely missed. I can remember the days when Kenny used to forward me email links to current events in South America because he (and my dad) were so worried about the political climate and my well-being down there. He also helped me a MILLION times with our computer woes, and was so patient about getting everything back on track again. But more than that, he was a close friend to my mom and dad in particular, and I know they enjoyed his regular phone calls and all his advice, humor, knowledge, and stories. The memories will last forever.
Sending lots of hugs, Erica
