EARL MALCOLM CARUTHERS Jr.(1951 - 2013)

EARL MALCOLM CARUTHERS, JR. Earl Malcolm Caruthers, Jr., 62, Retired United States Park Police Officer, of Novato, CA died peacefully at home on December 20, 2013, surrounded by his family. He was born in Middletown, New York on October 15, 1951 to the late Constance Hope and Earl "Jock" Malcolm Caruthers, Sr. Earl spent his summers with his mother and grandparents, the late Sally and James Walker, Sr., proprietors of Paradise Farms Resort, Cuddebackville, N.Y. During the school year Earl lived in Kansas City, KS with his dad and sister, spending time at Aunt Nan's for Sunday dinners. In 1973 he met his wife, Dolores. They were married that November and for forty years have remained life long friends and partners raising their two children, Earl Malcolm Caruthers, III and Danyelle Mary Caruthers. Earl was predeceased by his sisters Candace Caruthers-Morrow and Gloria Caruthers, and is survived by his wife Dolores, mother-in-law, Mary Keys, of Port Jervis, N.Y., his two children Earl III and Danyelle, sister Tonya Stewart of New York, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Earl will be missed; his family and friends have been blessed with lasting and loving memories. A Celebration of Earl's Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the General's Residence at Fort Mason in San Francisco, CA.
