JUDITH H. BYRUM JANSEN SUTTON Judith H. Byrum Jansen Sutton, 70, passed away April 11, 2014, at Kansas City Hospice, Kansas City, Mo. Judy left us peacefully and was surrounded by family and friends. Judy was born Sept. 24, 1943, to Adolph and Gertrude Herrmann, and grew up in Bismarck, North Dakota. She graduated from Arizona State University and was a practicing CPA for over 30 years in the Kansas City area. Judy loved to travel, play golf, hunt, and was involved with her church. Judy is survived by her daughter, Thomasin Kuhn (John) of Shawnee, Kan., and son, Toby Byrum, step- son, Norman Sutton (Kristine) of Kansas City, grandchildren, Hanavan, Noah, and Lydia Kuhn; Shelby and Josiah Sutton, whom she loved very much; siblings, Louise Gribbon of Phoenix, Ariz., Dan Herrmann (Jan) of Wimberley, Texas, Ted Herrmann of Riverton, Wyo., Kathy Mayfield of Gainesville, Ga., Jerry Herrmann of Bismarck, ND, and Tom Hermann (Binnie) of Chino Valley, Ariz., and many nieces and nephews. Judy was preceded by her sister, Margaret Herrmann, parents, Adolph and Gertrude Herrmann, husbands, Dan Jansen and Jackie Sutton, and granddaughter, Miriam Ann Kuhn. There will be a visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 13, at Amos Family Funeral Home, 10901 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, KS 66203. A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, April 14, at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 5601 W. 62nd Street, Mission, Kan. Judy lived life to the max, loved her Lord and Savior, entertained and helped many people along her journey. She will be deeply missed.
