ROBERT FRANCIS JACKSON, JR. Robert Francis Jackson, Jr age 89, died July 2nd, 2014 at the home. Robert was born June 27th, 1925 in Lexington, Missouri to Robert F. Jackson, and Ethel (Melander) Jack- son. After graduating from Lexing- ton High School, Robert attended Colorado College in Colorado Springs, Colorado. After receiving his undergraduate degree from Colorado College, Robert attended The Wharton School at the Univer- sity of Pennsylvania and received his Masters Degree in Finance. Robert went on to serve in the United States Marine Corp as a 1st Lieutenant and was assigned to Ko- rea to serve his country. After com- pleting his military duty, Robert started his banking career as a trainee with the First National Bank of Kansas City. After 35 years in the banking industry, Robert retired as the President of Charter Corporation which was the holding company for its' member banks throughout the State of Missouri. Robert is survived by his wife, Frances Jackson, children (Kenneth Jackson, Kathleen (Sczepanski) Jackson, and Peter Jackson. Robert is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Lauren Jackson, Steven Jackson, Tyler Jackson, Blake Jackson, Shelby Jackson, and Nicole Jackson. The family will be having a private funeral and memorial service.
