The memories in recent days have come flooding back of our many
Roland & Freida gatherings as neighbors, friends, and trips. Roland was "one of a kind" and he as well as Freida will always have a special spot in our hearts.

I have very fond memories of this whole family. Roland and Frieda were both examples of a strong faith exhibited in commitment and service. At a time like this we cherish the words of our Savior, "I am the resurrection and the life!" My prayer is for peace for all those who grieve Roland's transition into Christ's eternal Kingdom. Roland was a wonderful neighbor who often practiced random acts of kindness in the form of mowing our lawn as a treat or making sure our sidewalks were cleaned off. We will miss his big smile and peaceful banter exchanged over our shared mailboxes that he custom built to match our homes.
