Shirley A. Seetin (Hopkins), 62, of Colorado Springs, Colo., passed away Friday, December 13, 2013, at Pikes Peak Hospice. A Celebration of Life Service will be 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, at the Nall Avenue Baptist Church, 6701 Nall Ave., Prairie Village, Kan. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Breast Cancer Research. Shirley was born in Saalfeldin, Austria. She married Robert Seetin and served as a military wife with her husband over 32 years. After retirement from the Army in 2003 she lived in Colorado Springs. Shirley is survived by her husband of 43 years, Colonel (Ret.) Robert E. Seetin, daughter, Carrie E.A. Campbell, son, Robert J. Seetin, and five grandchildren, Tyller, Tanner, Taryn, Tevin, and Abraham. Shirley is also survived by her father, John F. Hopkins, and sister, Doris J. Braden.
