STANLEY J. MIROSLAW(1932 - 2013)

Stanley J. Miroslaw, 80, of Bonner Springs, Kan., died Friday, October 11, 2013. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 18, with Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at the Cathedral of St. Peter, 416 North 14th St., Kansas City, Kan. Burial in Gate of Heaven. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to: Polish-American Scholarship Fund, OWL (Operation Wildlife), or the Cathedral of St. Peter. Stan was born Oct. 28, 1932, in Kansas City, Kan. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the United States Army. He was a fireman for the Kansas City, Kansas Fire Department retiring as the Chief in 1991. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, two sisters and one granddaughter. Stan is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jane Miroslaw, his daughters, Linda (Tom) Gilligan, Lisa Miroslaw, Lori Miroslaw, Leanne Miroslaw Clayton, son, Michael S.
