Tommie Taylor Foster, Independence, Mo., passed away July 20, 2014, at Monterey Park Nursing Home. Tommie was born Dec. 1, 1922, in Salem, Ark. He was a farmer and an Auto-body Repairman. He was married to Almeda Foster for 63 years. He was a World War II veteran. He served with honors in France and England, and was a devoted Christian. He was preceded in death by wife, Almeda Foster; son, Kenneth Foster; grandchildren, Landis Adams, and Kendra Sutton. Survivors include children, Alreda Adams, and her husband Jerry, Donald Foster and his wife Marian; grandchildren, Angelynn Warren, Shawn Foster, Steven Foster, Scott Foster, Sheila Hager; 14 great grandchildren; sisters, Anna Pearl Dudley, Lorene Lockhart; brother, Rex Foster. Visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 24, at First Assembly of God, 3711 S. Whitney Ave., Independence. Funeral at 11 a.m. Friday, July 25, at First Assembly of God.
