WAYNE LEE COOK(1949 - 2013)

Wayne Lee Cook, 63, of Belton, MO died Monday, October 7, 2013. Wayne was born October 8, 1949 to Thomas Eugene Cook and Ida Irene Scott in Denver, CO. Wayne served in the United States Marine Corps, where he served in the Vietnam War. Wayne was retired from General Motors where he worked as an assemblyman at the Fairfax plant for over 31 years. After retirement Wayne worked part time at Lowe's in Raymore, MO. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Janet Sue Cook; son Jeffery Wayne Cook; daughte, Monica D'Ann Cook, (Ronnie Moore) 7 grandchildren, Tori Elizabeth Cook, Tyler Lee Cook, Cody Wayne Cook, Ava Marley Cook, Benjamin J Moore, Alyssa Marie Moore and Carter Ray Benjamin Moore; 2 sisters Bertha Scott and Alberta (Butch) Davis; Stepdad Ernest Carter and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents and sister Wilma Green. Wayne's loyalty and love for his family and friends will be missed by anyone that was lucky enough to know him. Following Wayne's wishes he is being cremated. His immediate family will have a private ceremony to scatter his ashes at a later date.
