WILMA REBECCA "BECKY" HUDSON

HUDSON Wilma Rebecca "Becky" Hudson, 72, passed away peacefully July 11, 2013, in Kansas City, Mo. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 20, at Campbell- Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be in Shiloh Cemetery in rural Saline County. An online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com Becky was born Feb. 24, 1941, in Marshall and grew up a Saline county girl who went away to Drury College in Springfield to study teaching. The lives of many students, and their families, were touched by her caring hand and loving heart. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Norm Hudson of the home, her son, Keith Hudson and wife Brenda of Excelsior Springs; two grandchildren, Leah and Luke Hudson; two brothers, Jim Hayslip and wife Diane of rural Marshall, Robert Schrankler and wife Joyce of Blue Springs; nieces, nephews, cousins, including Mick and Carol Hayslip of Greeley, Colo.; and best friends, Penny Athon and Bernadette Cleary of Marshall. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Case Hayslip, Tommy and Peggy Hayslip, Bill and Mary Boedeker, and her brother, Warren Hayslip.
