If grace really is God's Riches At Christ's Expense, then you have genuinely been given much grace. You have been given the gift of Lori to begin with, a gracious gift whose presence and memory will bless your days. You have been given faith friends who through their presence and prayers have walked with you. You have been given His Word to give you hope and His Spirit to grant you strength. You have the promise of a better future and the truth that even the difficulties of this present day cause you to long more and more for Christ. All these things are signs of grace, and they are given you in these present days. Allow that grace to give you daily strength and perspective.

I've thought of you all day today, Lori. I've been away a long time, and I wish now I'd stayed in touch. One absolute pivotal moment of my life included you, and we don't ever forget those. You and Darla tag teamed making sure that I had a new gift basket everyday I was hospitalized in 2000. And, I was so seriously surrounded by all that love and compassion, I saw God's love through you both. And, your family is beautiful. Jack - I don't know what to say. You'll be ok, you will. And, I'm praying for you and the boys.

What a beautiful woman who truly demonstrated how to be a Godly woman. Lori's genuine kindness, compassion, warmth, joy and love were constantly reflected in the beauty of her smile and how she lived her life. What was most evident was not only how much Lori loved the Lord but how much she loved and valued the most important men in her life: Jack, Heath and Mason. My heartfelt sympathy to you. Love Cindy

We used to live in Northwood Trails and I remember meeting and talking with Lori at the pool when our boys were little. What a kind, gentle spirited person she was. I am thankful, as I'm sure you are, for the hope of heaven where we will all be joined together, never to be separated again! May the God of hope fill you with peace that passes understanding. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Praying for you from Iowa...Wendy Smith
