Kyle and family. Your dad was a great man, helping out with the kids during various scouting meetings, and weekend camping out at the Kyle Drake homestead. He will be dearly missed. Your strenght and faith will see you through this period.

Dick was a "Great" friend and he and Beverly treated Elizabeth and I like family! We had many good times attending car shows, car cruises and working on cars together. We also enjoyed sharing our collections of Mopar die cast and Road Runner collectibles. Dick will be missed by us and all of those that knew him.

I joined HPAC in the late 90's. It wasn't to many black members in the club. Mr Drake, I all ways would greet him as Mr Drake, he would say just call me Dick. I respected him so much I just couldn't greet him as Dick. He and Beverly, from day one when I joined the club, made feel that I was truly welcome as a member, I felt that I had found a home. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for that. I also want thank all of the members that didn't judge me because of the color of my skin, but took me under wing as a member of the club

Dear Beverly,Kyle and family,
I just wanted to express my sadness at Dick's passing...we met both of your parents at a car show in St. Louis a number og years ago, and always enjoyed the times we had to get to know them when we saw them at Topeka and Kc shows. There are no good words to say at a time like this, only our hope that memories of happy times will stay with you to ease the loss you feel. Those of us in Mopars Unlimited will miss him too.

I met Dick at age 16 . He has been a great friend and mentor to me ever since. He will be sorely missed my me, my family and all who knew him. I cant image my life and not knowing him and him family the last 30 years. Let us celebrate dicks life and thank you dick for your influence on me.
