I'm sorry to say that I have only now learned of Jim's passing. I feel saddened that the world has lost such a truly caring and wonderful human being. I always appreciated our friendship and Jim's kind, collaborative and supportive spirit during our time at Harris, in NJ and after, when we worked together. My condolences and thoughts go out to his family and all who knew and cared about Jim.

I'm so sad to hear of Jim's passing. I met him a several years ago and we became fast friends. Time spent with Jim was always a delight and I looked forward to our time together. One of my fondest memories of having brunch in Ft. Tryon park and spending the rest of the afternoon walking through the Cloisters in NYC. I will miss him dearly and think of him often. My condolences to the family.

Ah Jim your sister and I will miss you so much. Your open heart and sense of humor made us brothers despite being so different. Your laugh will be with us always. Your cowboy hat sits on the shelf in my studio waiting.

I just heard of Jim's passing. We were co-workers at Harris Interactive. I have fond memories of him. He was a brilliant witty man. I remember many Sunday morning he would spend preparing
for the week but he would always call "Mother in Sun City". He will be missed.

I just received word of Jim's passing. It is so sad to hear this news. He was such a loving person and a real gentleman. I will miss so much. Love you Jim! You lived life well and enjoyed it all right up until the end. You are a class act and will be surely missed by all who were fortunate enough to know you.

Jim worked on several of my committees here at the College. His insight and support will be dearly missed. On a personal note he sent me many articles and tips on subjects he knew were of interest. I will miss him.

Jim was a vibrant, caring, witty and humble man. His dedication was quickly realized by everyone he came into contact with at Thomas Edison State College. And therefore we all wanted to have him join us in our projects and adventures. Always student centered, Jim was a huge part of the JS Watson School of Public Service's curriculum and admissions committee. He was clear he wanted each moment to count, and we were all the better off for him having shared his time with us. We will miss him very, very, very much!

My condolences to Jim's family. I once worked with Jim. He found out I collected kaleidescopes and went out of his way to send me one after a successful business pitch that we collaborated on and won. Thoughtful. Smart. Had a POV. Shared some of his reminisces of summers in Epworth with me as he knew I was from that part of Michigan.

I just learned of Jim's death today, and was both shocked and saddened by the news. Although I did not know Jim very well, he was always friendly, upbeat and both interested in and supportive of Eden Autism Services. I particularly appreciated Jim's kind words of praise after he read my father's latest book, and was touched that he would always ask about my Dad whenever we'd run into each other. RIP, Jim.

Jim was a valued member of the Princeton Regional Chamber and was instrumental in helping us build our regional marketing strategy. He touched so many of us. We will miss his laughter, his counsel, his humor and his warm smile. So long Jim.

Jim was a kind man who, through example, taught me many important lessons about business and people. His drive and motivation was unbelievable. He climbed many mountains, but almost always gave someone else credit. He congratulated his competitors when he lost. He genuinely offered support to customers who selected another partner. His philosophy of "giving it away" seemed so counterintuitive, but time and time again resulted in good things all around. He would never let anyone know when he was really hurting, and never let it be an excuse. I will miss him terribly.

I only met Jim less than three years ago but was immediately struck by his old-fashioned values of courtesy, integrity, hard work and generosity. We rapidly became firm friends and his sudden passing is immensely sad to me and no doubt all who had the privilege of knowing him.
