Linda Marie Scroggins, 74, Shawnee, KS passed away Saturday, Oct. 31, 2015 at the Shawnee Mission Med. Ctr., Merriam, KS. Visitation will be 10:00-11:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5 at the Amos Family Funeral Home; burial in Maple Hill Cemetery, Kansas City, KS. Memorial contributions may be made to Bristol Hill United Methodist Church, 4826 County Line Rd., Kansas City, KS 66106. Linda was born Jan. 16, 1941 to Rufus E. and Juanita E. Adkins. She was a graduate of Turner High School. Linda was an avid sports fan, especially the Royals and Chiefs. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Donna Jones. Survivors include her husband, Earl Scroggins, Sr.; step-daughter, Constance Scroggins, Lenexa, KS; step-son, Earl Scroggins, Jr., Stafford Co., VA; two sisters, Carol Byrd, Kansas City, KS and Rita Lash, Olathe, KS; five grandchildren and one great grandson.
