my father Frederick J Voigt worked for TWA as well he started in 1935 as a mechanic.He worked there for 42 years Chicago,Dayton ending up at Kansas City in the early 40's Fairfax,downtown & overhaul base.
when I was about 11 or 12 my father and I were on a flight to New York when your father saw my fathers name on the manifest he sent the flight attendent to invite us to the cockpit were he showed me the cockpit and gave me a pair of brass wings. Your father was a very cool guy in my eyes.
