I was shocked by the news of David passing. David was one of the best Lab supervisors here at JCCC. I admired and respected him as a computer lab assistant.
I will always remember him walking the halls at the college, to visit many staff members, including myself. He was a really kind and considerate man, and I always liked how he handled all kinds of situations with tact. He also work well, as a team. When OCB 304 computer lab switched out their old computers for new ones, he was right there working along side all his staff. I am so glad to have known him, and will miss him. May god bless him and his family, who I know he loved so much.

Mrs Kennedy and family

My name is Michael Smith i am one of Dave's current students. I am deeply saddened by this news. I am having the hardest time believing this. Just Monday i was in his office getting help with an assignment. I am so so sorry for your loss. Words can't express the influence he had on me in the 2 semesters i had him as a professor. No matter what he was doing he would stop and help me even if it wasnt for his class. I am gonna have a real hard time continuing in this class knowing that he wont be there. May god bless you all and my thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Tonya and Amanda

David was a most favored nephew. He was exceptional as a young person and grew into a most extraordinary adult. You grew with him so trust that your grief will be cushioned with gratitude for the many years you shared. Our love and prayers are with you and for you and as you know, God is a constant in life, here and ever after. Aunt Norma and Uncle Dwight

Mrs. Kennedy, my name is Ben Riggin, I'm an instructor at JCCC and have worked for Dave, Herb and Steve as a Lab Assistant. I always enjoyed conversations we would have at work where it started off as being all businees, and then, usually by a half hour later or so, would be on any topic other then work. . . I am greatly saddened for you loss. May God Bless.

Mr. Kennedy was always very professional and thoughtful dealing with me as one of my bosses at JCCC. He was the one who phoned me to offer me the part time job I've had for the past 5 years. Be hard to come into the office tonight. My thoughts are with your family.

Dear Ms. Kennedy,

I didn't know David well, but enjoyed working with him as part of Leadership Olathe. He impressed me as a truly good guy who cared about his family, his friends and his community.

I am so sorry for your loss and have no words that can comfort the grief you must feel. Please know that while his time with us was short, he had an impact on many. With the Lord's mercy,

Memory time: I will always remember the time David came down our stairs in a smock top with shoulder length hair and a beard. Uncle Dick looked up and said "Jesus Christ" the rest of us cousins prostrated ourselves at Davids feet. I think he eventually forgave us.

I always admired Dave whenever I got to see him while I was growing up, which was usually at Thanksgiving at Uncle Dick's house. He was always such a nice person. I was glad to get holiday photos of Amanda every year and a chatty holiday letter to keep up with all he and Tanya and Amanda were doing, which seemed like a lot of activities! Our family's sympathies go out to Tanya, Amanda, Aunt Mavis, Larry and Deanna and their families. Love and Best Wishes, Kim (Alice and Ted's daughter) , Michael and Stephanie Krutz
