What a gentleman and kind man. I pitched softball against this guy for many seasons in KCSSB and he would smile as he got ready to send the ball over the fence with the smoothest, steady swing I ever saw.

I am so very sorry to hear this news. Don was my neighbor and he and Jodi were 2 of the kindest people I have ever met. My heart felt condolences to the entire Brown and Newman family and to Jodi Whittaker.

We played basketball and softball together for many years but always on opposing teams. Don was a very tough competitor but always a gentleman. It's an honor to have known him.

My deepest sympathy to you and your family. Don Brown was a great man. He was the one hired me and brought me down to Kansas from Minnesota. I really enjoyed to stop by his office and talked to him just about anything throughout the years.He always had a great smile on him.
