Leroy and I were roommates at West Point. He liked being there. It was a shame that he couldn't stay. I feel badly that I lost track of him and made so little effort to find him. It is good to hear that he did well. I am sorry for the loss. Andy Bennett

We are so sorry for your loss. Can't hardly believe it as we just saw him last month at the Wyandotte High School Luncheon and talk and laughed with him as he set right next to us. Our prayers are with you.

My heart is aching over loosing Le. He was the best teacher, mentor and friend to me. I am glad we got to hug, dance and talk at Wyandotte's 45th reunion. He helped make that evening special.
Carol, I am praying for our Lord's continual touch of comfort and strength to surround you.

Enough cannot be said about the kind and gentle man we came to know over the past 25 years. Our conversations were always lively; our memories are forever. His heart and soul were not only with his beloved Afghans but also with his Kansas Jayhawks. Rest in peace, Le, with your beloved dogs in the land of rainbows while we keep an eye on the Jayhawks for you. Our hearts are with you, Carol.

I had the priviledge of being one of Le's many friends. Le was such an incredible person. Always the jokester, and never one to miss an opportunity to banter. I will miss his jokes, and Im sure when I see him again, he'll want to collect his $1.387 . Carol, I will be there if you need me

A common love for a gorgeous creature named the Afghan Hound brought our lives together. Le was a gentleman, a true sportsman, I will always have a world of respect for him. Le with Carol were a couple to set an example by. Dear Carol, I know you know and I hope your family knows how much we loved Le and are hugely saddened by his passing.
Always,

I just can't express the hurt I'm feeling over the loss of my dear uncle Le. He set a fine example to follow, one of a true Christian. He was always pleasant, always witty, and always in control. I can't imagine that anyone who knew him didn't like him. I am going to miss that crooked grin when he layed a corny pun on you, and then waited to see what your reaction was going to be. I look forward to being with him again someday in Paradise and seeing the smile on his face when he can show me what "perfect" Afgans look like (LOL). God bless you dear uncle, you'll always be in my heart.

Le radiated life to all who were fortunate to meet him. He adored his wife Carol. They shared a trmendous love for one another and the Afghans he so proudly bred and exhibited. Le was a very special man and I am blessed to have known him for 30 plus years. Le is with the Lord and shining down on all of us. With love, Jan Reital
