My Sweet Jerry,
I love you and will miss you each and everyday. All of the advice you gave me is remembered. You taught me that reading a cook book was fun. Your loyal friendship will forever be cherished. We shared so many funny times. That "Pavlova" !! Only you Jerry could do things like that and have them turn out wonderful! Our slumber parties were such fun!!From watching our horses run at the tracks, purchasing silk material, dining on the Plaza. I used to say "I love K.C" It was not Kansas City after all----it was because you were there. I will always remember our last phone conversation from the hospital. We will be here for Jim.

My deepest sympathies to "Miss Kramer's" family. She was my English teacher for 3 of 4 years at Paseo. She sparkled and taught with insight and energy, making us feel that she was a contemporary as much as our esteemed teacher. Even I, a model student, was enticed to play a couple of practical jokes on her in class, sophomore and senior years. I can hardly believe that she was 80 years old. Sorry she could not attend our 50th reunion last year; but I will always remember her as that smiling 30-year old.

Ms. Jerry,
You were my mentor, but more than anything you were my friend and the grandma I longed for. As I drive around Kansas City, I remember our "history lessons" and you still bring a smile to my face. I'm sorry you didn't get to meet our baby, but I know he/she will know about you! You will always be in my heart "my love"!

Jerry - I am so sorry we missed lunch. I am saddened by the news of your death. You bring back such fond memories from Westport High School. You, indeed, were an inspiration.
