I'm so sorry I could not make John's service. Instead, I'm staying with his beautiful grand children so that Lindsay could attend.
I met John at Milton's instantly liked him. We were friends, we were significant others, then we were parents. John was a very special person and I'm blessed that our paths crossed. Karen Smith (Lake Montezuma, AZ)

I was saddened to hear of John's passing away, We had talked about 6 or 7 months ago, after 40 years, and neither of us could remember the other. We were in the same platoon at the same time, so surely we did. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. Scouts Platoon & D co. 67 - 68 PLAY THE GAME

My condolences to the family and friends of John. I went to High School with John and remember many good times as we traveled through the formative years of our lives. I ran into John around 1970 when he first started bartending at the VFW at 31st and Main. We talked about Nam and then jammed a little with some musical equipment at the hall....John was a smooth drummer with a clock that never missed a beat. Welcome Home my fellow brother in Arms.

I went to high school with John. He was a very nice young man when ever I talked to him. He did love his drums. My thoughts and prayers are with the family in their time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
