MAXIE LEE IRWIN Obituary
Maxie Lee Irwin, 84, Kearney, Mo., passed away Friday, Nov. 15, 2013, at her home. Maxie's life was all about God, family and church. She loved people and wanted to lead everyone she met to her best friend, Jesus. She ran her race and finished well. She loved her flowers and feeding the birds, especially enjoying the cardinals. Maxie was born April 18, 1929, in KCMO to Otto and Floy Robertson. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; three brothers; and her husband of 51 years, James F L Irwin. She is survived by her two daughters, Paula Irwin of Kearney and Janie Larsen of Excelsior Springs; her son, James F L Irwin, Jr. (Bonnie) of Oklahoma; sister, Dorothy Robb, seven grandchildren, Lorie Brigman, Ashley Larsen, Billy Stone (Bethany), James F., III, Jonathan, Joshua, and Elizabeth Irwin; four great grandchildren, Isaac and Kayla Brigman, Brodie and Carly Stone; several nieces and nephews and Griffy the cat. Service 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, at White Chapel Funeral Home with burial to follow in the White Chapel Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Calvary Chapel Church-Liberty or Liberty Hospital Hospice. Arr.: White Chapel, 6600 N.
