Leon Seager was the founding pastor of my church, Grinnell, Iowa Church of the Nazarene. I have pastored here 27 years and remember having Rev. & Mrs. Seager here for our 50th Anniversary in 1998. He was a great guy and a lot of fun. May God's comfort be with all of you. Harley Schull

I love you, Dad. You were an inspiration to me. The most gentle, wise, loving, caring, tender, honest, elegant, Godly, consistent, solid, joyful man I have ever known. Thankful he welcomed me in to his family with open arms and unconditionally. Dad was always there for me during the many heartaches I experienced in life. I always knew he was there for me. Forever grateful. Until we meet again!

Uncle Leon had a way of giving comfort to others even when dealing with his own grief. He will be missed by all. Our mother, Rose Edna, always spoke highly of him. With a laugh, she would refer to him as her "little" brother. Deepest condolences from his nieces and nephews in Idaho.
