RALPH SEAGER Obituary

Rev. Ralph Leon Seager, 91, of Olathe, Kansas, went to be with his wife Ruth and the Lord, April 20, 2015. Memorial services will be 11 am, Thurs., April 23, 2015 at College Church of the Nazarene, 2020 E. Sheridan, Olathe, KS 66062.  Rev. Seager pastored for 40 years for the Iowa district Church of the Nazarene. He was also employed at the Iowa Department of Public Health for 25 years. He is survived by his three sons Gary (Kay), Ron (Jeanie) and Randy (Deb) 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Leon Seager was the founding pastor of my church, Grinnell, Iowa Church of the Nazarene. I have pastored here 27 years and remember having Rev. & Mrs. Seager here for our 50th Anniversary in 1998. He was a great guy and a lot of fun. May God's comfort be with all of you. Harley Schull

I love you, Dad. You were an inspiration to me. The most gentle, wise, loving, caring, tender, honest, elegant, Godly, consistent, solid, joyful man I have ever known. Thankful he welcomed me in to his family with open arms and unconditionally. Dad was always there for me during the many heartaches I experienced in life. I always knew he was there for me. Forever grateful. Until we meet again!

Thankful he welcomed me into the family unconditionally and supported me through the heartache experienced in my life. I always knew Dad would be there for me. Until we meet again!

Uncle Leon had a way of giving comfort to others even when dealing with his own grief. He will be missed by all. Our mother, Rose Edna, always spoke highly of him. With a laugh, she would refer to him as her "little" brother. Deepest condolences from his nieces and nephews in Idaho.
