1943 - 2014 | Obituary Condolences
Gerald Max Gott, 70, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at his home surrounded by his family in Kansas City, Kan. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23, at Maple Hill Funeral Home. Service will be 12 p.m. Sunday following the visitation at the chapel. Max was born Dec. 15, 1943, in Springfield, Mo. Max was married to Grace (Jarrett) Gott and they enjoyed 50 years together. During that time they raised four children. Max was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him. He was an avid NASCAR fan, enjoyed riding motorcycles and loved going to the casino. Max was preceded in death by his mother, Verla Rose, two brothers and one sister. He leaves behind his wife, Grace Gott, sons, Elza Gott (Jennifer), and Dwayne Gott (Amy), daughters, Carol Creason (Darren), Teresa Starks (Robert), sisters, Mary Gott, Shirley Eidson, grandchildren, Jessica, Justin, Matthew, Tiffany, Samantha, Kayla, Derrick, Kimberly and Joshua, and great grandchildren, Coby, Madison, Haylee, Gage and DJ.
