JOHN H. PAGE Obituary
John H. Page, 69, Kansas City, Kan., died Friday, March 21, 2014, at the Providence Medical Center. A Celebration of Life service will be at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 23, at Victory Hills Church of the Nazarene, 6200 Parallel Pkwy., Kansas City, Kan. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Wounded Warriors Project, 4899 Belfort Rd., Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256. John was born Jan. 9, 1945, in Childress, Texas, and had served his country in the United States Army for over 20 years, retiring as a CW3. John then became a Vocational Teacher and an Energy Education Manager in El Paso, Texas, for 20 years before moving to the Kansas City area in 2005. He was a member of Victory Hills Church of the Nazarene and served as a bible study teacher at the Wyandotte County Jail and the Federal Penitentiary at Leavenworth. He was very generous with his time and resources and influenced many lives. John is survived by his wife of 38 years, Mary L. Page, two daughters and their husbands, Jody and Mariano Carrese, and Jolynna and Ben Addink, eight grandchildren, great grandson, his brother, Carey Page and embraced many others as his family.
