CHARLENE GRACE (HANNER) BURRILL 8/23/1919-4/1/2014 Charlene Grace Burrill, 94, of Prairie Village, Kansas passed into the loving arms of God on April 1, 2014. Charlene is the beloved mother of three daughters: Julie (Tom) Grossman of St. Louis, Missouri, Laura (Steve) Parkey of Prairie Village, Kansas, and Cathy Lee Burrill, who predeceased her. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Gerald Burrill and her eleven siblings. In addition to her daughters, Charlene is also survived by six grandchildren: Montana Baldwin, Arnica Baldwin, Pilar Bleri, Lindsey Grossman, Eddie Grossman, and Grace Parkey Dominique and two great-granddaughters. Charlene was a volunteer for Grace Hospice, that was named for her ten years ago at the inception of the Hospice. It is also the namesake of her granddaughter, Grace Parkey Dominique. She loved animals and was known to always have an open door to stray cats, dogs and even ducks. She loved playing dominoes and bingo. Charlene truly enjoyed her friends at Kenilworth and loved her family dearly. Charlene's family sincerely expresses their appreciation to Grace Hospice and their employees for the love and support they offered Charlene and her family during this time. A Celebration of Charlene's life will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 5, 2014 at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 6401 Wornall Terrace Kansas City, MO. 64113. A reception at the church will immediately follow the service.
