Ann Marie Dunne was born at the Rotunda Hospital, Dublin, Ireland, on March 4, 1943, the third child of John and Eileen Dunne. She was placed in foster care at an early age. As a young girl, she won honors in the All-Irish step dancing competition. Ann completed her early education at Golden Bridge orphanage in Dublin and entered a convent in 1960, transferring to Englewood Cliffs, NJ, in Sept. '61. There she met Michael J. Fischbach, a mechanical engineer on a business trip. The two married June 17, 1967, and started a family the following year. Michael's career led them to move 7 times ending in Overland Park, KS, where they lived the past 24 years. She loved being a wife, mother, and particularly a grandmother; and made sure each member of her family knew they were loved. Her quick wit was a delight to all who knew her and one of her favorite quips was 'Made ya' laugh!' Ann is survived by her husband of 46 years; Michael, of Overland Park, sons Andrew (Loren) of Houston Texas, and Sean (Tammie) of Overland Park; daughter Michelle (Tim) Weaver, of Shawnee; eight grandchildren, a half-sister and two half- brothers in England and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and foster parents, a brother, sister and a half- brother.
