Obituary Condolences

ANNIS LUCILE (FARMER) GOLITKO Annis Lucile (Farmer) Golitko, 95, died at Brookestone Village in Omaha, Nebraska, Friday, June 6, 2014 while in the company of family members.  Lucile was born in Kansas City, Missouri, on October 20, 1918, the youngest of three children (Edwin, Margaret and Lucile) of  Thomas Edwin Farmer and Phyllis (Lodge) Farmer.  Her grandfather, Thomas Wybrants Lodge, a native of Killybegs, County Donegal, Ireland, was an early settler of Camden County, Missouri, in the late 1800's.  She lived in Kansas City nearly all of her life, graduating from Paseo High School and Kansas City Business College.  She was a successful real estate agent in the Kansas City area for more than 50 years.  She married George Richard Golitko on October 4, 1938 and had two children, Judy and Jeanette.  She was married to her beloved George for 68 years until his death in 2006.  She is survived by her children, Judy (Bill) Marley of Homer, Alaska, and Jeanette (John) Toney of Omaha, Nebraska.  She is also survived by seven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held Friday, June 13, 2014, 11:00 AM at First Church of the Nazarene, 11811 State Line Road, Kansas City, MO. 64114.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Nazarene Theological Seminary, 1700 E.
