JOSEPH JOHN BIDNICK II Obituary
Joseph John Bidnick II, 71, of Bon- ner Springs, KS, passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 after a cou- rageous battle with cancer. The Fu- neral Mass will be Monday, July 7, 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 5501 Monticello Rd, Shawnee, Ks. Interment following in Gate of Heaven, visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Sunday, July 6, also at Sacred Heart. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Church Endowment Fund or the Sister Servants of Mary. He was born in Kansas City, KS, on June 10, 1943, to the late Joseph and Anna (Lichtenhauer) Bidnick. Joe graduated from De La Salle High School and Kansas University. He married JoAnn Hadden in 1967. Joe had a successful career in sales before his retirement. He was an avid fisherman and could frequently be found entertaining family and friends at the Lake of the Ozarks. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. Joe is survived by his wife, four children: Brett, Susan Kubicki (John), Michael (Stephanie), and Joanna Homolka (Bobby), and nine grand- children: Mara, Hadley, and Jillian Kubicki; Emerson, Brady, and Macy Bidnick; and John Henry, Sam, and Hayden Homolka.
