ELIZABETH ANN "BETTY" STORM Obituary
ELIZABETH ANN "BETTY" STORM Betty Storm, of Westwood, KS, passed away peacefully Friday, July 4, 2014, at St. Luke's Hospice House, in Kansas City, MO, at the age of 81. She was born September 13, 1932, in Kansas City, KS, to Francis and Elizabeth Rollheiser. Betty grew up in Kansas City, KS and Southern California. She had three brothers, Frank, Bobby and Danny and four sisters, Florence, Jeanette, Mary Lou and Shirley. She was married to Leo Storm for 59 years; together they raised five sons, Mitch, Gary, David, Eric and Tommy. Betty and the family endured the loss of their youngest son Tommy, who passed away in 1990. Betty was devoted to her family; in addition to being a wonderful mother, she was an amazing grandmother to nine grandchildren, Mindy, Scott, Patrick, Chris, Audrey, Zac, Jackie, Ali and Tommy. She was a loving mother-in-law to Janice, Rosemary, Valerie and Emily and grandmother-in-law to Sara, wife of Scott. Betty was active in church and school activities at St. Agnes Parish where she developed many special and loyal lifelong friends who have always supported Betty and Leo and their family. Betty was a delightful, funny, ever graceful, loving sister, wife, aunt, friend, mother and grandmother who had an amazing way of making people around her feel peace, love and happiness. Betty will be greatly missed by Leo, her family and friends. Betty was preceded in death by her mother and father, her two brothers, Frank and Bobby, sister, Jeanette and son, Tommy. A rosary will be held at 9:00 a.m. followed by mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Parish, 5250 Mission Rd, Roeland Park, KS 66205. Burial will be held at 1:30pm at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Kansas City, KS.
