FRANK P. SANTILLAN Obituary
Frank P. Santillan, 80, passed away Saturday, August 2, 2014. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124, where the Rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 5106 St. John Ave., Kansas City, MO 64123. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Frank was born July 9, 1934, in Kansas City, Kan., to Apolonio and Concepcion (Pacheco) Santillan. He retired from Santa Fe Railroad and Hallbrook Country Club. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, Steven and John. Frank is survived by his wife, Virginia Sue (Giglione) Santillan; children and spouses, Rose and Terry Hunt, Amy and Dave Snell, Helen Callahan, Frank Jr. and Jackie Santillan, Gloria and Don Hays, Rita and Scott Hamel, Jesse and Lynn Santillan, Leah Terrell, Cynthia Glorioso, Dominic Armato, Carl Armato, Vanessa Ferrara (John Brocato); 17 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; brothers, Manuel, Marc (Lisa), Phillip, and Paul (Patricia); sisters, Amelia Guerra, Marta Barrigan (Victor), Virginia Ascencio (Elias), Michaela Reiling (Tom), Erlinda Chavez (Ralph), Dolores Hernandez (Michael), Anna Marie Davenport (Gary); sisters-in-law and brother- in-law, Phyllis Santillan, Anthony and Joan Giglione; and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers: Luke Collier, Anthony DiRenna, John Ross Ferrara, Carl Glorioso, Joe Glorioso, Victor Glorioso, Eli Guymon, Frank Malvagna, Sundance Santillan, and Phillip Serrone. Frank, what a prince of a man you were. Your kind and gentle heart went far beyond. Your heart grew tired because God has his plan and needed an amazing man. We love you and miss you.
