JUNE LEMON WAGGONER POTTER June Lemon Waggoner Potter passed away August 16, 2014, in Liberty Hospital. Visitation is 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, at Barry Christian Church. June was born June 11, 1931, in Lemon, Mo., to Ura Baxter Lemon and Flossie Means Lemon. She has lived in Platte City, Liberty, Lawson and most recently Garden Village on Barry Road. She was active in the Kansas City Assistance League. She has many friends from her work in the ReSALE Shop. She was also a member of PEO Chapter AO and The Questors. She has always been active in her churches and her bridge groups. She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands, James D. Waggoner and Fred O. Potter, a son, Richard A. Waggoner, sister, Margaret Lemon Perkins and brothers, Baxter Lemon and Loren Lemon. She is survived by her daughters, Peggy Swaney (Hal) and Judy Chandler; grandchildren, Brooks and JoAnna Chandler, Marianne Swaney- Stueve (Jacob) and Katie Swaney Smith (Christopher) and eight great grandchildren.
